Little Boxes

This one keeps getting played faster and slower everytime, varying parts sound better at different tempos, eventually I’ll find one I like. Started in a practice session at the Music Co-op in Lancaster, I had been playing the riff, so in a lull I just played the main riff, and another friend who was playing drums burst in with some kicks, and I thought; this needs turning into something. Obviously what is on the demo is a souless drum machine, but one day… oh happy day it will get some work. So this is a mid tempo version, and an earlier version of the lyrics, they are a bit more cleaned up now but roughly the same. Just sort of about how easy it is to over plan and compartmentalise and complicate aspects of life, and how ultimately this suffocates you. Les Paul all the way on this one.
